The Benefits of Fasting 18 Hours
After 12 – 18 hours of fasting, your body stops creating glucose (fuel) from food, and starts creating ketones, another form of fuel, from fat and damaged body cells. (I watched a few podcasts on this, maybe don’t have all the facts perfect, but this is the basic idea.)
