Never Change Who You Are to Please Someone Else
Friends! Here is chapter 10 of the new book.
I definitely had to learn this one the hard way.
You see, I learned early in life that who I am was not acceptable, not loveable. So I have lived much of my life unconsciously craving love and acceptance, even to the point of changing who I am to be approved of by others.
It doesn’t ever really work. Now, I would rather just be that which I am, and those who are cool with that will stick around, and we can be friends.
