Have a Plan for the Year Ahead

The Yankees baseball player Yogi Berra famously said, “You’ve got to be careful if you don’t know where you are going, because you might not get there.” This is a humorous twist on important wisdom:

If you are deliberate with your intention, you are more likely to get where you want to go.

As the year comes to an end, you may wish to be deliberate with your intentions for the year ahead. If you are not, then your life may be like a leaf blowing aimlessly in the wind. If you consider what you want your life to be in the year ahead, you are more likely to live the fulfilling life that you desire.

Make a plan for the year ahead. Otherwise, do not be disappointed if you live a mediocre life.
