Give People Enough Time to Show Their True Colors

Some people have personalities – their outward show of who they are – that are in complete alignment with their characters – their true inner being.

However, everyone is self-interested, and many folks put on a fine display of being on your side, only to take advantage of you – to betray you – when it suits them to benefit at your expense.

Sometimes, the friendliest people are the most self-serving, deceitful, dishonest people.

Be keenly observant of other people. Their words, their behaviors, their intentions, their personalities, and their characters.
