Blame Versus Accountability

This is a tough one for some folks.

It is easy to blame other people.

To take accountability takes great courage.

However, even when someone has truly wronged you, you must take accountability for how you respond.

People treat each other in horrible ways some times. It is up to you to take accountability for how you treat other people, how you respond to other people, and how you treat yourself.

This is a painful lesson for some folks. Yet, it is incredibly empowering.

Some folks say that responsibility is another word for freedom.

Other folks say that freedom is another word for accountability.
